ingredients:
- 3 large green bananas
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seed
- 1 teaspoon of methi
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Some curry leaves
- Some branches chopped coriander
- Salt
preparation:
Boil the bananas for 30 minutes. Once cooked peel and grate. Coarsely crush the cumin and mustard in a mortar. In a saucepan heat the oil and saute the methi, turmeric, cumin, mustard and curry leaves.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, then add bananas, onions and salt and mix well. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chopped coriander and remove from the heat it’s ready.
