INGREDIENTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 24 Fritters:
- 400 g of Taro root
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
- 4 tablespoons of cornflour
- oil for frying
PREPARATION:
Peel and grate the taro roots then place all ingredients in a bowl and mix them well.
Shape the mix into small balls and fry them in a hot oil bath.
The taro root fritters should be crispy and golden.
Drain the Gato Aroui on a tissue and serve them with a hot chili sauce.
