Ingredients:
- 250 g of salted fish
- 3 medium-sized cythera plum
- 1 big onion
- 5 big chilli (pima cari)
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
Preparation:
In a pot of boiling water put the salted fish. Cook for 5 minutes. Take the salted fish out of the water and rinse it quickly with cold water. Roughly break the salted fish into pieces while removing the bones. Reserve.
Wash and grate the cythera plums and reserve. Peel and cut the onions. Reserve. Wash and cut in 2 the chilis. Reserve.
In a frying pan heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Once the oil is hot add the pieces of salted fish and cook over high heat. After 5 minutes add the chilis and onions, mix and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the grated cythera plums and mix well. Cook for 3 minutes and at last add the vinegar.
It’s ready. Serve hot with white rice and watercress broth.
